Let’s Get to Work

11 days and counting. It has been 11 days since I last had concentrated recombinant Factor VIII injected into me. As a severe hemophiliac, I've been sternly instructed – on multiple occasions – that I need this injection regularly, at least two times a week, to have a normal, blood-loss-free living experience. I haven't been treated in almost two weeks and I feel perfectly fine. Why? Wrong question....
